My name is François Potvin, and I am a professional wildlife and nature photographer based in Quebec, Canada.

My journey into wildlife photography began in 2021 with a simple goal: to capture authentic moments from the natural world while respecting the animals and their habitats. What started as a passion quickly became a full-time profession in 2025.

Whether on foot, by canoe, or from the air with my drone, I strive to document wildlife in a way that tells a story, inspires curiosity, and creates a lasting connection between people and nature.

International Recognition

My work has been featured by internationally recognized organizations such as National Geographic and the BBC. I have also twice been named a finalist in Canadian Geographic's Wildlife Photographer of the Year competition.

Beyond publications, my photographs and wildlife films have been exhibited in museums for educational purposes, including the Natural History Museum of Neuchâtel, Switzerland, helping raise awareness of wildlife and biodiversity through visual storytelling.
